I absolutely love my life! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a healthy Joy-Filled 8w7!
I graduated college in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and taught High School Chemistry and Biology for 2 years. I wanted more flexibility with my time, so marriage etc. led me to running my own beauty business – which I have been doing now for the past 20+ years. Leading this team of incredible women continues to bring me tremendous joy – I just felt something was missing. I wanted a better connection with them, but didn’t know how to achieve it.
Enter the Enneagram. When I was first introduced to the this life-changing tool through my church, I realized I had SO much to learn. Learning about myself alone has been completely transformational. To learn as an 8 that I “do” first, then “think” about it, THEN remind myself I’m supposed to have feelings – was a GAME CHANGER! Especially while leading and mentoring women.
Now through the Enneagram, I can serve and lead with completely different eyes. After conducting a basic training on this to my local chamber of commerce, I realized I wanted to teach and help more than just my team. Men, women, families and young adults have all become my focus now. Watching people become the best versions of themselves is a highlight in my life.
As your coach, when it comes to personal growth, I will bring a FUN energy to the conversation. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and free to be YOU in all senses of the word. No judgment. My passion is asking Great Questions because they lead to Great Answers. Helping you know and believe that you are uniquely made and have a great purpose on this Earth…fills my soul! I promise you will leave feeling seen and heard.
In my spare time, I love to travel (with and without my kids) and have had the privilege of traveling to 27 countries! Can’t wait for more! I have a passion for reading anything on personal growth – hence why the enneagram intrigued me so much. More hobbies include listening to podcasts, playing games and just having a good time.
I’m so blessed to be married to Chris for over 15 years (a 3w2) and have 2 amazing children (a 1w9 and a 2w3) living in the Northern Illinois area.
